ok-today is going to be great!!! First of all, I'm typing this right now from the only computer in the entire lab that works, how's that for fortunate!!!! Also, I got a 100 on my quiz this morning, and remembered to get ahead on my comp apps hw and remembered to get the extra credit book that I needed!!! Amazing huh? o well, tonight morgan and I are going to head off to Delafield for some shopping and some dinner at Panara!!!! I'm soo exicted. Hopefully I'll find some cute little sandles for summer!!!!!!! Have a good one-
Amazing but True!!!!
I can't believe it!! Summer is actually going to come after all! I think sometimes we get all bummed out because school is going on FOREVER!! But in all reality, it's going super fast. It seems like just yesterday they ripped my gall bladder out, or I was in the Christmas Carol, or in speech class, and yet that was almost THREE MONTHS ago. Holy Cow!!! April 1st is Saturday-cuz cuz, you have a b-day coming up-too bad I'll have to miss it probably!!! But it's officially official- I'm COMING HOME FOR EASTER WITH TIFFANY!! LOL!!! O I can't wait!!!! And if I'll just wait a little longer-I get an entire week off before summer school!!!!!! It's going soo fast!!!! Praise the Lord again and again!! Than after summer school--NEW YORK CITY!! AH!!!!!! 300 hotdogs, 300 bags of chips, and a room full of friends!!!! God is sooo good to me, and I know I in no way deserve any of it. That song that I posted for Tiff was for me too. How amazing is it that God takes someone as little and insignificant as I am, and blesses them so abundantly, more than they could ever ask for or even consider. Amazing love how can it be, that Thou my king should die for me. And LOVE me-he loves all of you too by the way. This morning in my devotions I read a section of a book that stated that we are all God's "Favorite". If he had to come to earth and go through all that he went through, for just one person, and that person was you, he'd do it all over again. How amazing is that? I hope that I can grow to someday love others in just one thousandth of God's love for me, and that would be amazing. Hope you all had a great day, and have a wonderful weekend!!!!!!!

Attitude is Everything...
It's amazing to me how God knows exactly what we need and when we need it. He provided a fun job with good pay to make sure I had enough extra money to go to New York and pay for my school bills. He knew that I would be home on Spring Break and that I would be able to spend that time with my family and friends, and that everything would go by quickly, and yet I would still get enough sleep. He knew that I would wake up pretty crabby this morning and provided a great devotional and chapel message for me. What a great God he is. It does remind me of that song we sang in New York, about how God's grace still amazes us, how his love is still a mystery to us, and how each day we get a new appreciation for what God does for us. I can't wait for the semester to end, for summer school to end, and best of all, for NYC!!!!!!!!
We're Back in the Saddle Again...
Well-sad, but true. Spring Break is officially over and I'm blogging again from good ol watertown. O well, it was a good break, and school is going to be crazy until the end of the semester. Five weeks left people!! I can make it the rest of the way now for sure. Tonight I officially start my new job, and thanks to A&W, I'm not even nervous. To cuz cuz-you are sooo lucky to be on spring break this week! I wish we could've done more together-but summer is coming!!!! Hope you all have a good day no matter where you are!!!

Exterme Makeover: My Room Edition!
Well- today I decided it was officially time to redo my room-so that's what I've been doing! I used Mc Donald's Shamrock Shake as my wall color inspiration-which looks really Really good by the way. Hopefully I can get it all finished by the end of spring break!!! Enjoy the last few days guys!!! :( (You can be sad about that, the end of break, or you can see it as pushing onward to SUMMER VACATION!!!!! perhaps the greatest three months known to man)
New York is Coming!!!!
First of all-i luv spring break!!!!! I'm proud to say that I've done exactly nothing educational or profitable since the last tone sounded, and well, that's fine with me!!!! I've watched lots of tv, gone shopping, and am beginning to officially redecorate my room!!!!
Secondly-New York is coming!!!!! We had our first adult staff meeting last Saturday night and the trip is finally starting to come together! I can't believe how much I've missed everyone and how much I've just missed!!! O well! Life is life and we are all writing our own stories...we just have to remember sometimes to let other people read them!!! It's all ok though, I'm getting together with all of my friends here Friday night and we are all going to catch up. Then, it might be time to cut my hair!!!!!!!
AHHHH YES! I've made it. It's hard to believe that I've been through 3/4ths of my freshman year. Without gaining the 15 I might add:)! Now, spring break stares us in the face, march madness is looming, and well, I'm just glad to be alive today! I hope you all have a very very very fun and SAFE break! Also, remember who you represent, no matter where you are. Also, I hope you all come over on Friday night (March 24th) for pizza and march madness on the big screen! It will be soooo much fun to get together again and talk about all that God has done in our lives this semester so far and all of the wonderful and fun experiences we have had. Let's see, Camp Joy, Ikea, County X, Banana Republic, Southeren Oaks, NYC Youth Staff, wow. God is sooooo good. All we have to do is trust him and look at all the FUN we can have. Anyway, here's to spring break!!!

His Way Really is Perfect...
Ok. So you all remember the post about getting the job at Banana Republic. Well, i guess i was excited about getting the job but not really crazy about working. In fact, i had pretty much convinced myself that i was absolutely going to hate it. But, last night was my first official training night and well, i love it. It's amazing how God knew that I would go shopping that particular day, talk to that particular manager, set up that particular interview, and get that exact job, even though I didn't really want to or understand why. Life's like that. Right now I'm going through some pretty mature and hard stuff. I feel like, well, that everything in my life is moving so fast, and well, sometimes I even wonder if God really knows what He's doing. But then I look back on all of the wonderful things God has done in my life and the lives of others around me, and I realized that his wasy is perfect, you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Haunted Houses, Ice Cream, Hot Pot Facials, and the Phillippians...
Friends are the family we choose. What a great quote huh? Last night for example. I got a bunch of my friends together and all jumped in a car and drove waaaaay out in the middle of nowhere, county X actually, and saw a really super freaky abandoned old house. What's worse than just driving past a freaky house? Well, it was night, thunder and lightning out, and they made me stop and turn out my headlights and ROLL DOWN THE WINDOWS!!! How Crazy is that? After being so freaked out that I almost soiled myself, we drove to Wal-mart where we bought all the stuff for some serious ice cream. Then after we had stuffed ourselves full, we broke out the hot pot and a towel and some scrub and gave ourselves hotpot facials and told scary stories!!! This morning it's beautiful out and we all went to church together where the pastor talked about Phillippians and how their church was started. I guess the thing that most set the Phillippians apart was their joy and utter happiness, even in the midst of trouble. That made me think about my own life and how I respond to all circumstances. No matter what the days bring, if they are fun and enjoyable like the past two days were, or hard and trying, like finals are going to be, we need to "Count it all joy" no matter what. Also, we need to realize that as Christians all things work together for good if we love God and stay in his perfect will for our lives. And, I can now say from experience, if you are in the center of God's will, he will give you joy, happiness, peace, and GOOD TIMES WITH FRIENDS!!!!!!
Shopping, Sweet Tomatoes, and Sweedish imports
What a Day!!!! O my goodness. Right now I'm sitting at my desk at school enjoying the BEAUTIFUL night air that is pouring through the windows. It's 60 degrees outside in MARCH!!! Amazing right? Today I got up early...on a SATURDAY...and jumped in a van with my roomie Tiffany and her adopted college mom, Charlotte. We drove two hous to Shaumburg, Illinois to eat lunch at Sweet Tomatoes and shop at IKEA. For lunch they had a huge salad bar, which I enjoyed even though I don't usually like salad, Fuchattia bread line, pasta with organic sauce and noodles, muffins, homemade breads and muffins, soup line and an ice cream bar. It was fabulous. After we stuffed our faces and enjoyes sweet fellowship with one another, we jumped in the van and drove literally across the parking lot to IKEA. What a fabulous store!!!! In case you've never been to one, it's like a large home furniture store, with everything Sweedish...and that means it's dirt cheap!!! We bought cool, streamlined furniture and accessories for our bedrooms at home and enjoyed just hanging out and being girls. Then we jumped in the car and took the scenic ride back which was pretty much just super long and super boring. O well. What a day though. It's days like this that I'm glad I'm at college. Where else would I get to experience great friends, fellowship, and food???? Hope you all had a great day and go out to eat, shopping with friends, or just call up someone you haven't talked to in forever and say Hi!!!!!!

IKEA on Saturday!!! YEAH!!! This is a very timely trip considering I'm goint to redo my room over Spring Break, which is ever closer...I went shopping today at Target and Kohls and returned my sweater to the GAP, where I saw one of the ladies that interviewed me. Exciting I know. Now later we get to go bowling and I figure if Brandy and I bowl at least a 150, Lydia will only have to get a 34 and we will still be close in competition. JK, Lydia, I luv the way you bowl!! Anyway, question of the day, what is a bowling ball made out of???? Seriously, what is it made out of? It feels like rock, especially if you drop it on your toe, and yet is is moveable. I wonder if it's possible to make your own...I've got to have something in this dorm room that would work...Hmmmm....sounds like a fabulous Friday night activity!! Miss ya all and can't wait for spring break!!!!
Northland Camp and Conference Center has ruined my brain...
Yes, it is official. All of those years at Northland where I tried not to get infected by the cheers have indeed had an impact on me. Like today for example, I keep singing the BANANA cheer. He's Banana's B-A-N-A-N-A-S He's Banana's....O wait...that's not from a Northland cheer... That's a song...LOL...Anywho- I found my Ipod last night, PTL and I got a job yesturday, so my really really really BAD day turned out ok. You don't realize how much you need something until it's gone..
Three day weekend for me due to an unforseen snow storm. Great right? Yeah, it was fun. Today I spent the day shopping with my mom in appleton on the way back to campus. Life is weird sometimes. Especially since I left home. You think that you are totally over homesickness and that you have "arrived" at a place where you can be happy. Not that I'm depressed here, but you know. Like today, I was standing in Marshall Fields and looking at Coach purses, just like mom and I use to do in the summer and it hit me. I miss home. I really do. Not that I'm not happy here, because I am. But sometimes I miss rolling out of bed at 10 and watching Judging Amy in my pj's and eating poptarts and Golden Grahams. I miss shopping around town and eating lunch at Old Country Buffett with Grandpa. Now here at school I'm making new friends and new memories. But sometimes I think this whole growing up and moving on thing takes alot longer than we think. Not that the new memories and stuff that I'm experiencing aren't worth while, I wouldn't trade my experiences here for anything. It's just that well, the past was good too you know???? Sorry if this was depressing, it's just how I feel!!

Finally Friday....
Today is Friday! Perhaps the best date known to mankind, well, especially college students. Today I head home to Green Bay to watch tv, relax, and hopefully celebrate the state championship with cuz cuz. That however, remains to be seen. I have a cold, and that stinks. Why do they call it a cold anyway?? I'm actually warmer now than I have been in weeks...hmmm. Anyway, with enough IB Profeun and Vitamin C I should be good to go in a few days. That is just another reason to be psyched about the weekend as far as I'm concerned. Hope you all have a good weekend too!!!!!

Bowling, Drugs,and Pretty Eyes...
Those words about sum up today guys. First off we went bowling on the Marnatha first every Bowling League!!! We did alright, some bumps in the road and a few turkey's so all in all we did average in the scheme of things. On the way back from bowling we picked up our fifth team memeber who had her wisdom teeth pulled out today. Needless to say, she was high. As high as high could be. She actually got out of the car and started waltzing. Go Figure. Anyway, as soon as we got her into bed, we went off to dinner. That was a blast. Talk about embarrassing. Note to self-never expose who one may have a romantic interest in-especially in the presence of giggly girls high on life and bowling. Anyway, tonight the ol' basketball team from home plays at Northland in round one of the WACS State Tournament. With any luck, they'll keep up the traditions previously established and loose, even though they were ahead at half. Anyway, good night to all.... may tomorrow be full of fun!!!!

LoL. This is definitely a blockbuster huh? Funny the things that you discuss over lunch. Life is so random and I love it. The killer tomatoes are the topic of disgustion at lunch both today and probably tomorrow. Someday I'd like to make a movie about nothing, just like this one. Just for kicks I looked up tomatoes in the Bible...God didn't like tomatoes either, so I'm not alone on that one. Anyway, hope you are all having a great day!! Spring Break in Two Weeks!!!!!
Sometimes the best things happen when you should be studying...
Last night, for example. We were all supposed to be studying for our history of civilization test and instead we engaged in our own Dorm Duels. You see, they let the guys have Dorm Duals wrestling and we girls were feeling a little left out over there in Melford, and TADA women's wrestling Melford style was born. It started out like more of a tickle fight, but eventually became pretty intense. The girls today can show you their carpet burns and bruises. Ahhh yes. O and a huge answer to prayer, only $13.00 left on my school bill. YEAH!!!!!!It's always nice to only owe two places at a time instead of three...college life. Anyway, later today I plan on taking some cool pictures to use in my new scrapbook. That way when I come home for the summer you can all see my stuff and envy the good times you've missed out on. LOL. No, hopefully it will just encourage all of you to attend college...we can hope right??? Have a Good One!!!
